Client Requirements
- Filling containers: 200L plastic drums, 200L steel drums
- Automation level: Automatic drum feeding, automatic top labeling, automatic side labeling, automatic cap loosening, automatic filling, automatic capping, automatic palletizing
- Production requirement: Filling speed up to 160 drums per hour
Operating Process
- Empty drums are automatically fed into the line and enter the labeling station. The drum rotates for side labeling. Then, precise positioning ensures accurate top labeling.
- Labeled drums proceed to the decapping station, where mechanical alignment and automated cap loosening are performed.
- After decapping, four empty drums enter the filling station as one group. The filling lance descends into the drum opening. Coarse filling is followed by fine filling until the preset weight is reached.
- Filled drums exit the filling station and move to the capping station. A vision system detects the drum opening position. A mechanical gripper retrieves the cap and performs precise torque-controlled tightening.
- Filled drums are then arranged into a 2×2 formation before entering the palletizing station.
- The palletizing gripper lifts four filled drums simultaneously. An empty pallet is automatically conveyed beneath the drums.
- The gripper lowers the four drums onto the pallet, completing the pallet layer. The finished pallet exits the line. Meanwhile, the next empty pallet is prepared in advance.
